The Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre The University of Manchester

Opportunity to get involved with research

Please see the below details from MFH Research  for this wonderful opportunity

The Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre, at the University of Manchester, is one of four Tommy’s Research Centres in the UK.

We are based at St Mary’s Hospital.

Our research:
• Provides a better understanding of fertility, infertility, and the start of a healthy pregnancy
• Investigates why complications happen during pregnancy
• Develops new ways of diagnosing and treating pregnancy issues
• Supports improvements in antenatal care to support the health of mothers and their babies
• Aims to reduce the number of pregnancies that end in loss during pregnancy or shortly after birth

We are always looking for patients, and members of the public, to get involved with our research.

If either you, or your partner, have experienced the following, then we would love to hear from you:
• A healthy pregnancy
• A complicated pregnancy and/or placental problems during pregnancy
• A pregnancy following assisted reproductive technology, such as IVF
• Pregnancy loss; miscarriage, second trimester loss, stillbirth and/or neonatal death

Please email: MFHRC@manchester.ac.uk to find out more.
