The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation is a promise we made to our daughter Kallipateira and this will be a gift from her for everyone that it will benefit and support.
How We Started
In the first twelve months after our daughter’s death we were known as Stillbirth Awareness and Fundraising.
In this time, we started to raise an awareness of Stillbirth and for our cause we raised over £21,000.
Mission Statement of the Charity
The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation will increase the awareness of Stillbirth, support parents who have experienced the death of a baby and support research to help reduce the numbers of babies who die during pregnancy or birth.

Our Story
Back in February 2018 something happened that neither me nor Gaynor thought would ever happen. It was not planned, and it was a huge shock and surprise. We had become pregnant and in only nine months’ time we were going to become parents to a little girl or boy.
For myself (Ben) for the first few months of the pregnancy I was scared and nervous of the life changing moment that would enter our hearts in the near future. I was worried that because I had no experience of babies that I would not do things right.
