The Ultimate Test of Endurance
On 19 July, Ben will step onto the ancient, sun-baked stone middle track of the 3rd-century BC Ancient Stadium of Rhodes. Facing zero shade and brutal humidity reaching up to 40°C, Ben will walk 260 grueling lengths of the track.
The number 260 holds profound personal significance, marking the 26th birthday of his beloved daughter, Kallipateira, who was stillborn on October 26th 2018. Every ounce of energy Ben expends in Rhodes is driven by a singular mission: to raise vital funds for Professor Alexander Heazell and his groundbreaking team at the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Manchester.
