Rock Royalty Backs Extreme Challenge: Killer Queen Frontman Patrick Myers Sends Message of Support to Ben Moorhouse Ahead of Grueling Rhodes Extreme Challenge

Extreme Challenger Ben Moorhouse has received an incredible boost ahead of his ultimate extreme challenge this Sunday, July 19th, from none other than Patrick Myers, lead singer of the world-renowned tribute band, Killer Queen.
Patrick, who has spent over three decades performing globally as the legendary Freddie Mercury, sent a heartfelt message of support to his longtime friend as Ben prepares to push his body to its absolute limits in Rhodes yet again.
A Supreme Test For A Sacred Promise
Ben is taking on the unimaginable task of walking 260 lengths of the Ancient Stadium of Rhodes (Monte Smith) in scorching summer heatwaves reaching 40°C. With zero shade available on the ancient track, the challenge is designed to be a supreme test of physical and mental resilience. The number 260 holds a sacred personal meaning for Ben and his partner, Gaynor Thompson, honoring the October 26 birthday of their beautiful daughter, Kallipateira, who was tragically stillborn in 2018.
Through The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation Ben’s extreme challenges raise vital funding and awareness for ground-breaking stillbirth research at Professor Alexander Heazell’s Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre and Tommy’s Rainbow Clinic, located at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester.
“Kindness is Everything” — A Thank You From Ben
As a lifelong fan of Queen, the endorsement from rock tribute royalty means the world to Ben.
Speaking about the video message, Ben Moorhouse said:
“I would like to thank Patrick for his continued support over the years. Patrick has celebrated Kallipateira’s birthday with us with a special performance from himself – this I treasure. As a huge Queen fan and Killer Queen to take Patrick’s support with me and kindness is everything. A lovely man and if you have not seen Killer Queen live – please check his website for tour details! Thank you Patrick.”

How You Can Help Save Lives
Ben’s extreme challenge is entirely driven by his promise to his daughter to help prevent other families from suffering the devastation of stillbirth. Every single penny raised goes directly to clinical research that saves babies’ lives.
