Meeting with Kate Dearden MP
Ben was honoured to recently meet with Kate Dearden, MP for Halifax, to share Kallipateira’s story and speak about the work of The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation.
During the meeting, we discussed:
- the enduring impact of baby loss
- our extreme challenges in Kallipateira’s memory
- the lifesaving research we help fund in Manchester
- and our ongoing support for bereaved parents both locally and beyond
Kate showed kindness and interest in the difference we’re working hard to make. Her support for raising awareness of stillbirth and the needs of bereaved families means a great deal to us.
We look forward to continuing this important conversation and working together to ensure more babies arrive safely, and more families receive the care they deserve.
